Richard Harman founded
Refined Detail at the start of 2008. Richard begun valeting at
the tender age of 13, initially just cleaning cars on the forecourt
of a local garage,
before working his way to preparing the cars for sale and once they
were sold - all by the age of 14! After nearly a decade of
experience maintaining his own vehicles and others to a high level,
it was time for the keen car enthusiast with an eye for detail to
start offering his expertise to the public and trade. Having worked
for many V.I.P clients, leading dealerships and bodyshops, Richard's
reputation speaks for itself. Refined Detail became a
member of the F.S.B (Federation of Small Businesses) in 2011.
Refined Detail are fully mobile, fully equipped and fully
insured
( £2 million public liability, vehicle indemnity and road risks - ie.
to drive your vehicle with Fully Comprehensive cover) The self sufficient van
carries everything required to valet or detail your vehicle including water
& power, all products and any other
necessary equipment. Please note, there will be a surcharge of £5
for use of onboard power. All detailing work requiring the use of a
machine polisher will require access to a power point within 50
metres. Refined Detail will endeavour to leave your vehicle
looking like it's just rolled out of the showroom!
Refined Detail can visit you at any location convenient to you,
whether it be home or work - anywhere within the Home Counties or
along the South Coast. If the weather turns for the worse, a
shelter will be required - a large carport, garage or space in an
industrial unit is ideal. A gazebo is deliberately not used as a
slight gust of wind can end in disaster (and how often does rain
fall vertically with no wind in the UK?!)
A typical Refined Detail vehicle will surpass any standards you
expect - This is no cheap hand car wash or "supermarket car park" valeting company and never will be. Quality is the main objective -
to leave your car looking it's best, and leaving it easier to
maintain in the future.
Refined Detail refuse to use cheap, "quickshine" products, and
select only the finest products carefully selected from around the
World from the likes of Meguiars, Bilt
Hamber, 3M, Chemical Guys, Autoglym, Autosmart, G-Techniq, Wolf's
Chemicals
and Zaino.
All products are of professional quality and cannot be found in your
local store. Using our extensive knowledge of today's paint finishes and the
products available, all products are carefully selected specifically
for your vehicle to create the ultimate finish. No gritty sponges,
silicone based quick shine products or waterless cleaners are used; ensuring
that the car is cared for every step of the way. Refined Detail are
often spending time rectifying the damage inflicted by inferior valeting services whom use cheap chemicals and poor techniques to
get the job done quickly, not safely or to a high level.
