Alloy Wheel Refurbishment
From £75.00 per wheel
Alloy wheels can make or break the overall appearance of a car. A set of well presented, immaculate wheels offer great visual impact, but kerbed, corroded or chemical stained / etched wheels let down the overall appearance of a car – even if the rest of the vehicle is in immaculate ‘just detailed’ condition!
Alternatively you may be looking to add an individual look to your car with a different colour from the factory finish.Refined Detail are now able to offer a full alloy wheel refurbishment service in association with a network trusted 3rd parties. This is a full refurbishment service for all types of alloy wheel including split rims and diamond cut finishes.
- Tyres removed
- Wheels checked for hairline cracks & buckles
- Any necessary metal repairs carried out (welding, straightening, kerb damage etc)
- Full wheel stripped back to bare metal
- Powder coated finish applied, lacquered & baked (OEM colour match, or choose from a variety of finishes)
- Valve & Tyre refitted & wheel balanced (new tyres can also be arranged)
- Premium quality wheel sealant applied for protection
We can also supply & fit new centre caps & decals if required. For further protection of your freshly refurbished alloys, why not consider a set of ‘Alloygator’ rim protectors – Refined Detail are an authorised dealer & fitter of the Alloygator system.
With competitive prices, why consider cutting corners and getting an inferior repair carried out by a smart repair company? Often these repairs are only to the face of the wheel, with overspray sealing in dirt on the inside of the wheel and use ‘generic’ colours rather than proper colour matched finishes, and are only cured using infra red lamps which make for a very short lived finish before it starts to fail and discolour.
Please note this service is regrettably only available on vehicles that are booked in for detailing work at my unit as the car will be without wheels for 3-4 days minimum (Diamond cut wheels 1 week minimum) as I do not have the room to accommodate vehicles that are not being worked upon.
