With regard to the result you achieved
on the Aston I would say the results were amazing. As you know I am
an amateur detailer, but the results surpassed what I was expecting
and far beyond what i could achieve. Black is a difficult colour to
work with and the finish was flawless. The depth of the shine was
exceptional and the metallic fleck in the onyx black really stood
out in direct sunlight. The photos didn't do justice to the
appearance in the flesh. I have no hesitation in recommending
Refined Detail.
As the very happy owner of this Subaru I cannot recomend Richard enough and will be using him again for sure...I had to grin, I was round the shops just before it got dark and some chap said "I thought they stopped making that shape years ago, I must be wrong because clearly that one is new"..... Richard came to my home to smarten up my Jaguar X Type Estate which I had just bought. It was in need of some TLC as the previous owner had not cared for it as he should so I went for the full Stage 3 valet. Now I'm generally a fussy person and estimate it would have taken me half a day to thoroughly clean and polish it inside and out. Richard estimated he would be done by mid afternoon but in the end he spent the whole day working on it and the result is outstanding, a complete transformation. Despite this, the price was as quoted. Now my car is like new and I have nothing but praise for Richard's efforts, thank you so much. One more thing, the text messages were very helpful reminding me you were coming and then advising me of a delay due to traffic. There are plenty of valet companies around, I could have chosen someone more local and possibly even cheaper but I doubt I could have had a better result. A pleasure to meet a true gent with a professional work ethic that many would do well to emulate. The job he did on my BMW E91 was simply stunning. If the devil’s in the details, then Richard is the exorcist. Many years ago I worked in the vehicle refinishing game, so I know a little about the skill and sheer graft involved. I knew from initially speaking with Richard that I was dealing with a dedicated, knowledgeable man, but there’s only so much one person can achieve in a day and I was well aware of some problem areas that would throw up a few challenges. I was expecting to see a significant improvement, but after putting in a solid 10-hour day the result Richard achieved blew me away. I’ve now signed up for a regular maintenance program. I got in touch with Rich from Refined Detail, who had just the solution. He gave the car a full valet and detail, both inside and out, and it’s had a stunning effect. Swirls and burned-on brake dust have all vanished; tar marks are a distant memory and the paint and glass alike now have a glossy shine that looks as good as new.
